NEW POWER SPORTS FACTORY ELITE MOTORCYCLE WARRANTY FOR 2006.
The Power Sports Factory, exclusive importer and distributor of Qianjiang Motorcycles, Strada Motorcycles and Yamati Motorcycles,offers the following warranty program:
ELITE COVERAGE
EFFECTIVE APRIL 1st 2006 this warranty covers vehicles starting with VIN numbers LAW* or 5P4* 2 YEAR / 24 MONTH / 5,000 Miles* - Major Parts Warranty 3 YEAR / 36 MONTH / 5,000 Miles*. Complete Engine Warranty Vehicles starting with any other VIN will be covered for 1 YEAR.
ALL WARRANTIES above are in effect as long as the product has been operated and maintained according to the recommendations of the manufacturer (see owner's manual).
This Warranty Program becomes effective; only upon the completion of the following steps:
- Products must be assembled and prepped by a certified / authorized Power Sports Factory dealer.
- Warranty card must be signed by a certified / authorized dealer.
- Warranty card must be filled out in order to activate Warranty.
NOTE: If the above steps are NOT completed, your product will be covered under our 2005 Product Warranty Policy.
To present a claim, customer shall produce a valid warranty card, fill out a warranty report card and deliver the defective part for exchange to the Power Sports Factory at his or her expense.
This warranty shall be void if the Customer modifies the "product" in any respect including but not limited to the use of parts other than genuine Qianjiang Motorcycle, Strada Motorcycle or Yamati Motorcycle manufactured parts.
This Warranty is applicable only to the customer as the original purchaser of the "product" from the Power Sports Factory or its Authorized Dealer and shall not apply to any subsequent purchaser, assignee or other recipient of any Power Sports Factory product from the customer. www.powersportsfactory.com
THIS WARRANTY COVERS THE FOLLOWING PARTS:
ENGINE: Engine long block assembly, including all internal lubricated parts, i.e. rings, piston or pistons, wrist pin or pins, crankshaft and main bearings,
connecting rod and rod bearings, camshaft and camshaft bearings, timing chain gears, rocker arms, valve springs, valve guides, valve seats, valve push rods, valve lifters, and oil pump. Additionally, cylinder head (s), engine block, and cylinder barrel or barrels will be covered if solely as a result of a mechanical failure of one or more of the internal lubricated components specified above. The cooling system must be in good working order including cooling fan or fans. Accessory items, including but not limited to electrical components of all types (CDI, magneto, and all sensors and electrical control sending units), fuel system, gaskets, seals, filters, mounts, linkage and fluids are not covered by this agreement.
TRANSFER CASE: (SHAFTDRIVE)
DIFFERENTIAL: (GEARBOX) All internal lubricated parts contained within the gearbox housing case. The gearbox housing itself if damaged solely as a result of a mechanical failure of one or more of the internal lubricated components contained in the gearbox housing. Accessory items, included but not limited to, backing plates, all brake system components, cables, controls, linkage, vents, pump, electrical controls, mounts, seals, gaskets, and fluids are not covered by this agreement.
TRANSMISSION: (Automatic or Manual): All internal lubricated parts contained within the transmission case. The transmission case itself if damaged solely as a result of mechanical failure of one or more of the internal lubricated components contained within the transmission case. The complete hydraulic system must be filled including internal transfer case, oil cooler, lines, and new filter (s) installed accessory items, included but not limited to, electrical controls, linkage, mounts, seals, gaskets, and fluids are
not covered by this agreement.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THE FOLLOWING PARTS:
Plastic shrouding, body panels, lenses, lens reflectors, remote, remote alarm module, cabels, key fobs, seat upholstery, light bulbs, tires, brake pads, brake linings, drive belt, clutch shoes, variator or batteries.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
You must have a professional mechanic (any small engine repair shop, motorcycle shop, or local auto repair shop) or an authorized Power Sports Factory Dealer to assemble your new unit and do the prep work to assure your unit is in proper working condition. You will need to provide proof of this when filing a warranty claim, so please keep all receipts.
You must have a professional mechanic servicing your product to file a parts warranty claim.
Subject to the limitations stated in this agreement, Power Sports Factory agrees (at its discretion) to replace a covered component if the covered component fails as a result of one or more of the internal lubricated parts within the component stated warranty period from the date of purchase, while the component is being used under the conditions and in the manner specified by the original manufacturer.
All transportation costs and shipping damage incurred while submitting parts for review, repair or replacement are the responsibility of the original purchaser. Any damage during shipping of a scooter, motorcycle, ATV or dirt bike to a dealer/customer on an initial purchase must be claimed by the dealer / customer through the freight delivery company and is not the responsibility of the Power Sports Factory. We will assist with your claim in anyway possible to rectify the problem in a professional and timely manner.
This Warranty does not apply to any injury, loss, defect or malfunction of the "product" or failure to function resulting from failure to operate or maintain the "product" in accordance with the directions contained in the owners manual provided by the manufacturer (if supplied); or any injury,loss, damage, defect or malfunction, or failure to function resulting from any accident, acts of God, alterations to the "product" by anyone other than the distributor, or misuse, unreasonable use, tampering, abuse, acts, omissions, failure or negligence by anyone other than the manufacturer.
These warranties set forth herein are in lieu of any other warranties, expressed or implied including warranties of merchantability or fitness. The Customer represents and agrees that any claims that it may assert against the Distributor / Importer / Dealer, shall be limited to those which may be asserted under the foregoing limited warranty. In the event of necessary warranty work please contact the Power Sports Factory. You will need to provide the Make, Model, Invoice Number and (VIN) Vehicle Identification Number. This information is available on your bill of sale and or invoice. We may help you determine what, if any, part is defective; we can offer technical advice and support if needed through our in-house technical support department by phone, fax or email.
The Power Sports Factory will make every effort to assist you by in getting your Scooter, Motorcycle, Dirt Bike or ATV up and running as quickly as possible if a part fails or is defective within the warranty period.
This warranty does not include labor, wearable parts, damage from abuse, misuse or neglect or damage incurred during shipping.
If you have a part
that needs replacing please CONTACT PSF and they will ship the part in good faith within 5 to 12 business days or advise you of the lead-time if longer. If a part is not in stock they will make every effort to obtain a replacement part from our supplier as long as the part is available. All parts must be returned for inspection before replacement parts are shipped. If a problem cannot be diagnosed over the phone, we may ask you to take the vehicle to a reputable repair shop, at your expense including labor, for diagnosis if you do not have a mechanic to troubleshoot the problem. We will consult with the shop and furnish any needed or warranted part as outlined above.

During shipping, nuts and bolts could loosen. Make sure you tighten all nuts and bolts before riding your bike / scooter, etc.

Features, specifications and images are the manufacturer's and may vary or change without notice. There may be slight changes in style and color schemes as new models are produced. The Manufacture does not always supply us with updated pictures in a timely manner. All changes are considered upgrades.
Make sure you preview the product dimensions. If you receive the product and it is too small or too large, you cannot return the product or receive any refund.

PLEASE NOTE: SOME STATES MAY REQUIRE REGISTRATION AND INSURANCE FOR YOUR MOTORIZED VEHICLE. CHECK WITH THE MOTOR VEHICLE DEPARTMENTS (MVD) FOR ANY SPECIFICS REQUIRED IN YOUR STATE. ALSO, SOME STATES MAY REQUIRE A MOTORCYCLE LICENSE TO OPERATE A GAS SCOOTER. SOME STATES CONSIDER MOTORIZED SCOOTERS TO BE MOPEDS AND FALL UNDER THESE GUIDELINES WHILE IN OTHER STATES YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO REGISTER YOUR MOTORIZED SCOOTER AT ALL. PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR MVD BEFORE MAKING PURCHASE.
If you purchase your vehicle through Mini Bikes Plus and subsequently discover it is illegal, you CANNOT return the product or RECEIVE ANY REFUND.
